Each option has a different strength. Use this table to match the option to your card.

|---|---|---|

Cards are printed within 2 business days after file approval. | The last day to order is December 19. Pickup in Mapleton is free, and shipping is charged at cost to the lower 48 states, based on the weight of your order and your location. |
| Online photo-card sites and big-box stores | You want to design and order in one place from their templates. | Prices, paper, envelopes, and shipping vary by site, so compare the total for the same quantity and paper. |
| Home printer | You need only a few cards. | Heavy cardstock, clean edges, and ink costs are harder to manage as the number of cards grows. |

What Do People Ask Before Printing Christmas Cards?
A few quick answers before you send us your Christmas card details.
Can you print a Christmas card I made with Canva, ChatGPT, Gemini or Grok?
Yes. MCC Wedding Invitations prints finished PDF, PNG or JPG files made in Canva or with an AI image tool. Send the file and I will look it over first, and if anything might not print well I will tell you before you pay. Printing-only Canva orders receive 10% off, and cards made with an AI tool are printed at the regular prices in the table above.
How long does Christmas card printing take, and what is the last day to order?
MCC Wedding Invitations prints Christmas cards within 2 business days after you approve your file. The last day to order for Christmas is December 19.
How big does my AI picture need to be?
Aim for roughly 1500 x 2100 pixels for a portrait card or 2100 x 1500 for a landscape card. Most AI tools do not offer an exact 5 x 7 shape, so pick the closest tall or wide option and let the template crop it. Not sure your file is big enough? Send it anyway and I will check it for free.
How do I keep our family's faces looking like us?
Have the AI draw only the frame, then place your own photo behind it, the way the samples on this page were made. AI can change faces when it edits a photo, so this way is safer.
My AI picture looks blurry or is the wrong shape. How do I fix it?
AI pictures are often too small, or the wrong shape, for a 5 x 7 inch card. Try these four steps. 1) Ask the AI for a picture in your card's shape (tall for a portrait card, wide for a landscape card) with no words, such as a clean, simple background, sharp focus, no text. 2) Enlarge it with a free tool like Upscayl, or the upscale option in your AI tool, to at least 1500 x 2100 pixels (2100 x 1500 for a wide card). 3) In Canva, make a 5 x 7 inch page (7 x 5 for a wide card), place your picture, and type your own greeting on top. 4) Download it as a high-quality print PDF and send it to us. Enlarging cannot add detail that was never there, so start with the sharpest picture you can. Not sure about yours? Send it anyway and I will check it for free before you pay.
Can you print envelopes and addresses on Christmas cards?
Yes. Every card includes a matching white envelope, and we can print your return address and guest addresses directly on the envelopes.
How do I get my Christmas cards, and what does shipping cost?
Pickup in Mapleton, Utah is free. Shipping is charged at cost, by ground, to the lower 48 states, based on the weight of your order and your location. If your cards need to be in hand before December 25, order early or plan on pickup.
Send what you have — we'll get your cards out on time.

Designed Your Own Christmas Card? Let Us Print It
Hi, I'm Janet. Each year more families are creating their own Christmas cards with AI image tools or Canva, and I enjoy seeing what everyone comes up with. Bring us your finished file and we will print it for you, then tuck a white envelope behind every card. Cards you make with an AI tool are printed at the regular prices in the pricing table above.
AI Can Create a One-of-a-Kind Design for You
AI can create amazing designs and backgrounds, and it can make a different one for every family. The sample cards below are here to show how simple it is to end up with something beautiful that no one else has. For each one I did three things:
- Ask AI to draw a frame. Paste one of the prompts below into your favorite AI image tool. It creates a decorative border and leaves the middle open.
- Add your photo. Place your own picture behind the frame in Canva, Photoshop, or any editor that can layer pictures.
- Type your names and greeting on top, then save the card as a PDF, PNG or high-quality JPG.
Since your real photo never passes through the AI, everyone in it keeps their own face. The photos and names on these samples are only examples, and yours will be your own.

Free Templates and File Tips
Download a free template with guide lines: portrait (5 x 7) or landscape (7 x 5). The red line is the card edge, and the green dashed line is a safe zone about a quarter inch inside it.
- A portrait card works best at about 1500 x 2100 pixels, and a landscape card at about 2100 x 1500. Always download the largest picture your AI tool offers.
- AI often misspells words, so leave lettering out of the picture and type your greeting yourself.
- Keep faces and words inside the green safe line.
- We cannot print famous cartoon characters or brand logos.
- Not sure your file is big enough? Send it anyway, and I will check it for free before you pay. More on file sizes is in the AI image print size guide.
